Machane Pioneers provides a unique, action-packed camp experience where your son will acquire life skills. We are geared to help campers gain a sense of responsibility, leadership skills and most importantly Simchat Chaim - a joy of life itself!
Surrounded by a new environment and interaction with great teachers, each boy will develop confidence and glean skills to be used for the rest of his life.
Most importantly, campers will have a fun-filled summer!
PROGRAMS
Junior Pioneers
Ages: 9 -12
Learning the basic skills of wilderness survival, plant and animal identification, fire building, archery, animal husbandry, and our exciting trips will allow these boys to not only build confidence, but come away from the summer as expert Pioneers!
Pioneers
Ages: 13-14
This division builds on a variety
of skills, such as fire building, advanced shelter building, survival rescue, climbing, fishing
(brook, river, and pond/lake),
trapping and more.
Maglan
Ages: 15-16
The aim of this program is to foster leadership skills, teamwork, self reliance with an overarching theme of training to be a Pioneers counselor.
Boys have the ability to enjoy the summer as campers, but are also delegated responsibility throughout the camping season.
